<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>WWII ended something like 60 years ago. The WTC bombing was yesterday. A slight difference.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>The Death Toll for World War 2 was literally 55,000 times larger</div>
Yes, but the few who were even alive for WWII are probably in their 90s.

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>There are very few today who are able to know WWII firsthand. The WTC bombing happened yesterday, we all watched the entire event unfold on TV screens. What most of us know about WWII is out of a textbook, whereas we watched the WTC bombing on live TV. There's a respectable difference in personal connection here.
People fifty years from now will intellectually know about this, but that's it, just like we intellectually know about WWII. Insensitivity towards WWII is actually a weak issue, since relativly few people hold a very strong connection to WWII now, since the only connection they have is through textbooks. Yesterday we watched both towers crumble to the ground live... that leaves a much stronger connection to the event than a textbook can give to WWII.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Fine, then they're at least in their 70s, possibly 80s. My point still stands though.</div>
That was just two buildings, World War 2 was many many cities and nations, and peoples, it was an event which lasted 6 years, it's rediculous to say that insensitivity to world War II is a weak issue

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Tell it to people who lost all their families and most of their friends in WW2 that "Insensitivity to WWII is a weak issue" and see what their reactions are</div>
How many people do you know who lost their families who are still alive today? The Civil War was worse than the WTC bombing, but no one from that era is even alive today...

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>I'm not saying the WTC bombing was a worse event, I'm saying that the amount of people who were actually THERE to become emotiotionally attached to the event and are still alive TODAY is far larger with the WTC bombing than WWII.</div>
