<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I was wondering if any of you guys use the swap trick to play imported tittles on on Playstation, I am thinking about getting Dance Dance revlution 4th mx along with some other tittles, I have one of the newer playstations schp-9001, the one before the PSone they have not port on the back for game sharks or anything like that, anyone have some idea

my friend told me that all i need is to do is hold down the button iside the PS with tape or a spring, then start the game and when its so far into it simply put in the import CD into the case.

BTW I am a cheap bastard and really don't want ot buy one of those cds specially made for swapping but if I must give me a link please</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "arial narrow"; text-align: left; padding: 0% 5% 0% 5%; '>I think your friend is wrong. The swap trick didn't even work with my April '96 model (I just used a Pro Action Replay for that until the system stopped spinning discs).</div>

<div style='font: 10pt ; text-align: left; padding: 0% 0% 0% 8%; '>It works... but it's not reliable. Best is still to use one of those boot disc or just modify the system......</div>

Damn, you are cheap.

<div style='font: 9pt Arial, Tahoma, Verdana; text-align: left; '>Those boot CDs cost like $20. I got one, and I haven't gotten any money in a long while now. Just buy a PS-X CD (I think they made a PS-X 2). I'm not sure, but I think you would do fine by buying a Game Shark (one that uses the CD).

You bought the dance pad, and did everything in your power to protect it, you might as well buy some sort of boot disk.</div>
