<div style='font: 9pt Arial; text-align: left; '>I hate to say it, but I was a bit disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I had a good time, but I wasn't blown away with any of the games as I was with say, the Devil May Cry demo. The controller was a little, er...weird. It's very comfortable, but the unconventional button layout needs some getting used to.

Quick reviews of the games there.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem: The different timelines give it some potential, but the fact that it plays like a slow Resident Evil (which says a lot) shows that it needs some fine tuning. The extra dark setting on the TV didn't help either.

Luigi's Mansion: Wasn't really looking foward to this one, but I was pleasently surprised. I'll probably pick this one up if I have some spare cash.

Pinkmin: I didn't know what to expect but I liked what I saw. This was probably the game I played the most, and I learned something new each session. I finished the second day with around 90 Pinkmin. I'm definately buying this one when I get a GC.

Star Fox Adventures: The Arwing stages are pretty much what you expect from the Star Fox series, and the Adventure mode is kind of reminiscent of Zelda 64. Doesn't seem to break any new ground from what I've seen, but it's decent.

Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II: Like the first Rogue Squadron but with much better graphics. Um...not much else to say.

Super Monkey Ball: Another unexpected great game. I was able to play 2 multiplayer modes: a race, and a battle mode. I was still trying to learn the controls of the latter when one of the workers decided to change to the racing mode (much to my dismay). I responded by kicking all their asses in both tours :)

Super Smash Bros Melee: Again, like the original but better looking. Not necessarily a bad thing, mind you.

Wave Race Blue Storm: Very nice graphics. Didn't play that much because the guy who spent nearly half an hour playing Eternal Darkness nearby finally left.

As for the event itself, it probably was as close to E3 as I'm going to get for a while. Dozen's of GC's all over the place, scantily clad Maxim girls (who didn't look like they wanted to be there), and free stuff.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt Arial; text-align: left; '>It just struck a chord for me. All I can say is, don't knock it till you've played it.</div>

At first glance I thought it was some sort of Pokemon clone, but now that I've read about it, I realize that I was 100% completely wrong =)  My Impression of it now is a Hugely advanced version of a PC game called Baldies or something that was out li

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>But there's probably a lot more to it than that. It also reminds me of an old SNES game called Sim Ant, I think that was the first game I ever got trully addicted to.</div>
