<div style='font: 11pt arial; text-align: left; '>want frog's triple tech Grand Dream. need marle to have life2 in order to learn it. haven't used marle any more than was absolutely necessary (ie pretty much not at all). after getting masamune powered up and acquiring the rainbow marle's most recently learned spell is Haste. this means that i must learn ice2, cure2, THEN life2. i refuse to take marle on any sort of significant part of the game. solution: fight the same 4 guys on death peak until life2 is learned. i am now entering hour 2. only 556 tech points to go. soon, granddream....soon!
note: anyone attempting to say that Grand Dream is not worth this effort will have a brief encounter with a high caliber pistol round...brief as in the time in takes between entry and exit wounds.

Things in Black Omen give a lot of Tech Points

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Also running through the conveyor belt in Geno Dome is good xp if you haven't shut it down yet.
Darkness Eternal or Omega Flare is much better than Grand Dream. :)
I didn't use Marle much either, I used Frog/Robo as my healers. Usually have Crono because he's the hero, and the last member is either Ayla or Magus.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "Times New Roman"; text-align: left; '>Just for reference, making the rounds on the mountain of woe is the best way available in the game to earn tech points. THere's one rubble near a save point that always respawns after reset.</div>
Yeah, i forgot about that till about 15 minutes ago when i played that part.

<div style='font: 11pt arial; text-align: left; '>I don't wanna go through the Black Omen till I'm ready to take on Lavos. I feel cheesy fighting some stuff then running away.
I actually just wanted the move because I've never seen it before.</div>

Better than the Black Omen?

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>There's that one room near the entrance with, I think 4 sets, of eyeball things that give all kinds of points. And you don't have to reset to bring those back, just leave the screen.
Beating them isn't bad, just like the rubble they never really attack, equip the berserk thing on Crono, and/or raise Ayla's hit(I think she has the highest)</div>
The rubble is easier to beat than the orbs, and it gives 100 tech points each battle. The save point you want is under the overpass, the rubble is at the bottom of the area where you first enter.

<div style='font: 10pt "Times New Roman"; text-align: left; '>Even if it weren't as fast as the Black Omen (it is), it's certainly earlier in the game.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt arial; text-align: left; '>The orbs give 200 though.</div>
