I'd like to see some official numbers on both Xbox and Gamecube sales...

<div style='font: 10pt "arial narrow"; text-align: left; padding: 0% 5% 0% 5%; '>Not to compare the two, but just to know. My reasoning: all the game sites seem to be saying "Xbox and Gamecube are sold out EVERYWHERE!", and according to Seeker, Nintendo has sold 700k (not likely)... yet, I could get both systems no problem, like... anywhere. In the past few days, I've seen both for sale at: Futureshop, Wal Mart, Microplay, and EB.

Is it just Nova Scotia? Probably not. What's the situation like in your area?</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Why bother? I figured sales numbers were a silly thing quite a while back. The way I figure it, is if the system is still around and selling with some popular games half a year from now, it's a safe bet. For riskier bets, adjust the time scale as you see fit, with less months being more risky.</div>

I heard 220K for XBox

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>And 330K for Gamecube.

I got my information from www.comicbaby.com, so this isn't exactly the authority on gaming numbers, but it's the first place I've seen that mentions numbers.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Well, 1 million Gamecubes have been shipped, on sales, I am not sure, but according to Bloomberg 700K have sold</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Same here...lots of supply. I could walk to any store in my area an pick up either...

"Sold out" sounds like a load of BS to me...

*shrug*

It's either a case of great supply (especially where we live) or people aren't rushing out to buy the new systems [yet...displays for GC and Xbox will be in stores during xmas...that'll help]...

I mean....look even here...who besides me and Seeker bought a new system?

Oh well, numbers should be out next week...

<div style='font: 10pt "arial narrow"; text-align: left; padding: 0% 5% 0% 5%; '>I'd wager Crono probably has a GC by now, but as for anybody else, who knows? This place is dead.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>I think Slappy might have one too, and one other, Ganath maybe?</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Nah, not me, you're probably thinking of G-Man. I've already got a PS2, and I usually just stick with one system for a while unless it really starts to suck or another really starts to kick ass.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "comic sans MS"; text-align: left; '>I have every intention of getting the GC - AFTER I'm tired of MGS2 and GTA3. I have Rogue Squadron 2 and the memory card, though.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Heh...

Well...still, not many. I remember more consoles being talked about when the PS2 launched...

Mabye BL is right....maybe it's just that the shrine is dead...
