I'm thinking of getting either Mullet Gear Solid 2 or ICO after I finish FFX. I've heard that MGS2 has great gameplay to make up for it's idiotic story, but what are your thoughts on ICO?

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>No contest. Get Metal Gear. That is, unless you want a game that faithfully simulates the experience of baby-sitting the retarded.</div>

Skip this game John. I got this with FFX at the Virgin Megastore. Although its not bad, its pretty disappointing.

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>For all the hype that came with this game here is what I am most dissappointed with:

As far as I've played it cutscenes take up about 50% of the time you spend playing it.

In terms of graphical prowress, a lot of the stuff looks like it coulda been made in the dreamcast. Textures look too simple (Think Goldeneye)

Bodies dissappear. C'mon were talkin about a freakin one man commando here. The least you could do Konami was let us savor over the kills we had.

Control scheme is horrible. Horrible in a sense that most of the stuff is basic. Not much variety to your punch punch kick attack.

For what I heard about the AI in this game, it's still pretty stupid. They still come at you even though you popped 4 guys before him.

Lame missions.

Really annoying voice acting.

I've been playing FFX more (i think 14 hours and im fighting Seymour) no doubt I like it better than Most Shitty Game 2. I'm gonna see if I could exchange it for GTA3 or NBA2K2. Avoid it like the plague.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "comic sans MS"; text-align: left; '>Please don't expect a lot of textures in this game, it's on a plant. You know, not much articles laying about, flat panels, long corridors. Gameplay was fun, skip the cut scenes. Get the game, enjoy.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Hey man, after shelling out 50 beans I'd expect a game where I can actually get to *play something* I'd have gotten a dvd if I wanted too see a movie</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>I'd say go with MGS2. Penny Arcade summed it up with "Pardon me, but I don't speak 'CRAZY BITCH'!" Heard Ico was interesting, but ultimately frustrating and had little replay value.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>FFX story keeps the cutscenes interesting...as opposed to the retarded shit that MGS2 has. Seriously though I dont know why you guys are dickriding all this Konami hype.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "arial narrow"; text-align: left; padding: 0% 5% 0% 5%; '>Interesting choice of words... you think anybody who likes MGS2 likes it just because of the hype? It blows the first game out of the water when it comes to gameplay, and the cut scenes are easily skipped.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>What? No one's dickriding anything, ass. We like a game you don't like. You'll get over it.</div>
