<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>Yeah, it's true that Grandia II was made by GameArts, a company that's always been pretty pro-Sega, but this turn around it was published by Ubi Soft, a company which generally tries to spread its games out. Besides which, the first Grandia only came out here on the Playstation. So I'd hardly call the Grandia series some kind of Sega exclusive or Sega owned thing.

And secondly: What the <i>fuck</i>? Crazy Taxi is straight up <i>mad</i> cool. It may not change by a whole lot from game to game, but it's still so fresh that it's worth playing for extended periods of time just to build up your phat pimp roll. And you can <i>bet</i> that Gus is bling blingin' that shit on some fly-ass cooch later on.

Awwww, yeeeaaahh.

<div style='font: 11pt "comic sans MS"; text-align: left; '>I still think that had partly to due with the platforms they were on. Saturn and Dreamcast titles had to compete with PSX games. But, we'll see how VF4 will fare now that it's on PS2(30 million world wide).</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>It has nothing to do with consoles. The Virtua Fighter games are primarily ARCADE games, remember? When's the last time you saw a crowd of people gathered around a VF console here in the U.S.?</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "comic sans MS"; text-align: left; '>Like Tekken and Street Fighter 2 are primarily console games? I think the popularity of the PSX helped Tekken in the arcades. Especially when Tekken 3 for the arcade came out, so many had played Tekken 2 on PSX, it was a success before it was out.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "comic sans MS"; text-align: left; '>And that, I believe, eclipsed VF3 at the arcades. Now that VF4 is on PS2....we'll see how many Tekken fans will feel about VF.</div>

You couldn't have it more completely backwards.

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>The only reason Tekken and its sequels were ported to the PSX in the first place is because they were popular arcade games. There was probably some small reciprocal benefit for the arcades, sure, but make no mistake, the arcade games laid the groundwork first. Tekken 3 for the arcade wasn't made just because Tekken 2 on console sold well; it was made because the Tekken series was, and continues to be, a popular arcade series. Although, considering that the U.S. arcade business has been in a horrible slump for the past five or so years, that paradigm may have changed.

And what are you talking about, "Street Fighter 2 is primarily a console game?" You must be joking. Street Fighter 2 was a mega-hit in the arcades long, long before it either the SNES or Genesis. It's what put Capcom on the map.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>To be honest with you...., Sony has VF4 from Sega, and that's the only Sega franchise which matters other than Sonic. Xbox can keep the Smilebit/Hitmaker/WOW games, most of them are pretty niche anyway.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>VF was eclipsed in the arcades long before Tekken 3 came out. Like I said, it's a Japanese thing. (Btw, I personally loathe Tekken. Virtua Fighter is ten times better.)</div>
