<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Just recently NOA announced that Mafia will make its way to GameCube. And I have noticed some people do not know this and do not know anything about the game so I thought I would try to let people know about it.

Much like GTA3 the player will be able to wander around town doing whatever they please. The city is a whopping 12 square miles or terrain! Getting around town will involve stealing cars or taking the good old bus or trolly.

There are 20 missions in this game, lasting up to a couple hours each. So we are looking at a fairly lengthy game. The mission will vary from bootlegging alcohol, assassinating mob bosses, bank robbing, gun fights in underground parking lots to smashing car windows with baseball bats. Saving in the game will not be done whenever you want. The game will save automatically at certain points in the mission. Saving will also be done when you store cars in the a garage.

Not only will you be able to wander around the streets but you will be able to enter buildings as well. The game takes time to load the interior as you enter. The load is worth the wait as the buildings are filled with extreme detail. Beautifal plants, beds, lamps are just a few of the objects in the building to make you feel like someone is living here. Plus many blood filled battles will take place indoors.

Cops are quite smarter than in the GTA3 series. Make sure you don't speed or run any red lights while there are cops around, otherwise there might be a good old fashion police chase. Well, it's probably better to pull over and just take the fine. You knows what the consequence would have been if you didn't pull over. Ok, so you out ran the cops. But don't worry they won't forget you, as you pull off more crimes cops will be more aware of who you are and more likely to try to catch you. Maybe you should stick to taking the bus around town.

There will be about 12 weapons in the game including things from bats, cocktail bombs to (What I'm sure will be my personal favourite) the tommy gun.

There will be two separate modes other than the main story line. These modes are freemode and racing mode. Freemode is basically just walking around the city and causing chaos (Sounds good!) and race mode is...race mode. Developers are still unsure whether they will included these right away or as a bonus when beating further mission. You will be able to play with 2 players outside of the story game in the separate modes.
