I played FF6 again

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>The game isn't as good as I remembered it was... got through World of Ruin in a very short amount of time and then decided I don't feel like playing through and level up everything again. In retrospect, the esper system is really annoying... forces you to find high MP areas. I got to Atma Weapon without anyone in the party having Cure 2 because I was distributing the espers in a random fashion.</div>

Kind of like when I went through and beat Zelda: A Link to the Past in a couple of hours....

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>I used to consider the game to be almost on the level of Ocarina of Time, but in reality, it is FAR FAR behind the level that Ocarina of Time is. It's further behind Ocarina of time than The orriginal Legend of Zelda is from A Link to the Past.

As for FF3, I actually played it over the Winter break, and I still really like the game, but the game isn't really that long, if you know what you're doing, 14-16 hours shouldn't be much of a problem. Now go back and play Final Fantasy 2 =)</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>FF2 is about 8-10 now. That's why you just can't compare today's games to yesterday's game, the time in which they came out makes a big deal. I distinctly remember Super Mario Bros. being an extremely hard game.....in 1987. I can go through it in 5 minutes now</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "arial narrow"; text-align: left; padding: 0% 5% 0% 5%; '>When I play through it now, I just don't use espers. It's more challenging that way, and the people who SHOULD be using magic (Terra, Celes, Strago's 'lore') still can.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt Arial; text-align: left; '>That's kind of what I did, but I didn't eliminate esper use entirely. I just limited them to natural spellcasters.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "arial narrow"; text-align: left; padding: 0% 5% 0% 5%; '>I did that once too, but in the end Terra, Celes, Strago, and Relm got too powerful.</div>

I somehow ended up with no Cure 2 no anyone I use when I got to Floating Continent :(

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>I just pick a random Esper and slap it on someone without really worrying whether I need the spell or not. Turned out most of the time I don't get what I need this way. :(</div>

maybe 15 hours real time using turbo mode

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>To get that kind of time you've to be running away on most of the battles.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>What, and take away the fun of making Gau your strongest magic user?</div>

I dunno. Z:OoT was a great experience the first time through, but the mere thought of playing it again makes me nauseous.

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>Whereas for A Link to the Past, I can pick up and play anytime. I guess maybe it's because OoT is so long. Did have the best story of any Zelda game, though.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>Best story? Personally I don't think Zelda, or Mario deserve their stories mentioned in the context of the game. :P But tOoT is actually easy the 2nd time through, though the Water Temple is still a bitch.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>I like OoT's story because it actually made Zelda a character instead of the usual damsel in distress. Still wish Link could've talked, though.</div>

<div style='font: italic bold 14pt ; text-align: center; '>ff2 had one thing most other ff's didn't....a hard final boss....damn that guy kicked your ass waaay to easily sometimes.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>Maybe he kicked YOUR ass, by I handed his ass to him on a plater everytime I fought him. No RPG really has a difficult final boss, IMO.</div>

Smithy for Super Mario RPG is fairly challenging

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>I like how they made him so that he's tough even with maxed out character (not that 9999 xp was really hard to get). I guess if you went and did the side quest with Kulex and the 100 jump stuff he wasn't too bad. Didn't get killed by him, but he was no pushover. Had to play pretty conservatively (Lazy Shell on Bowser = indestructible).</div>

<div style='font: 12pt "Cooper Black"; text-align: left; '>nah, i'll have to disagree. Just like every other boss in history he had a pattern that you could pick up on and then just whoop the hell out of him.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Yeah he did. If you ever power leveled up to lvl 99 though, it was the other way around. :)</div>

Well he's no problem if Rydia can survive a Big Bang

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>If Rydia can't survive it then you've the problem of something like Weak + Big Bang or Nuke + Big Bang. Rydia's pretty good as a backup healer, and summon Asura is lightning fast.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light"; text-align: left; '>Ever do just Terra? "No, don't cast Ultima...that's a waste of MP. Just do Meteor, and it does 9999 damage."</div>
