<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Wow, can that thing ever put out a graphical punch. Definetely above the Gamecube (maybe not so much so over Rogue Leader and Res Evil, but definetely much better overall) and LIGHT YEARS ahead of the PS2. Easily the best looking games on a regular basis. But let's get on to the important stuff: the games.
Halo is that damned good. I spent so much time marvelling at all that was going on, the enemy AI, the NPC AI, the graphics...everything. Even the controls took very little time to get used to, and I'm not too big a fan of the dual stick controls. I mean, damned, this game ruled something fierce. If Doom was the start of the FPS craze, Goldeneye was the evolution using storyline and missions (on a big scale), Half Life was the evolution of the GE basics, Halo is the next step. It's that damned amazing. My ONLY gripe is the controls for the jeep. Some controls should never be changed, like driving controls. I just don't understand why the jeep must turn where you look. Why couldn't we just have a look stick (right) and a drive stick (left) so that we could look right or left while still travelling in the same direction. This is very minor though, the game still rules something fierce. I can see why it's so popular. Unfortunately, haven't had the chance to try multi or co-op, we only had the one controller.
Munch's Odysee is a great looking game, but I only played the first level and so far...it's Abe in 3D. Not a bad thing at all, it made a great transition.
Gunvalkyrie is a pretty fun game too, I very much enjoyed the first few levels. Not terribly innovative or spectacular, but a very fun game that looks awesome.
Man, I thought the system was big before I had a chance to put it beside the others. It's 3 times as big as the 'Cube and nearly as tall and it even dwarfs the PS2. Not to mention it weighs what, 10 pounds? DC size is about right for me, but man, this thing is like twice the size of it!
Overall, I'm quite impressed with the system. Even the controller didn't bother me after a bit. It's still huge, but it's fine, a LOT like the DC controller, which was a pretty good controller. I'll have to get me one used, soon hopefully. Gotta play Halo again :-)</div>
