<div style='font: 12pt "Courier New"; text-align: left; '>I've been in kind of a haze for the last 6 months with school/work/studying/girlfriend/sickness/crap to play any video games. The last game I bought was Virtua Fighter 4 and the last game I played to any great extent was FFX (It was decent). All I have now is a PS2 so I can't pick up this "Eternal Darkness" game right now.

Any recommendations for PS2 games?</div>

Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis is a great game if you like the Ogre battle series or Final Fantasy Tactics...

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>If you get a Gamecube in the near future by chance:

Other than Tactics Ogre the only games I have bought in the last 6 months are:

Sonic Adveture 2, Simpsons Road Rage, the new Bond game, Fifa Soccer 2002, Resident Evil, Eternal Darkness, and Warcraft III (got it today, collectors edition, this is the most expensive game I have ever bought and I get the Employee discount, it retails at 130 Canadian).

Eternal Darkness is the best of the bunch: I would have to say that Eternal Darkness isn't like any game I have ever played before, the graphics seam to be about Dreamcast quality but the level of detail is amazing, the dialogue is much better written than any game I've played so far. The Sound and music compliments the atmosphere of the game very well, better than Resident Evil by quite a bit in that area. Oh yeah, there's a lot of weird stuff in the game, if you get right into it and actually get effected by the Insanity meter, it does mess with your head. However, this game is definetly no Resident Evil Clone, it's much more open, I suppose it could be compared between Vagrant Story, Resident Evil, and Zelda Ocarina of Time, though it is definetly a completely unique game.</div>

The ones in 6 were no prize, but they at least moved at a decent rate. Other than that, this one's alright, I guess... but it's still going back to EB.</div>
