<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>-Firstly, Sega has announced that there will be improvements and a slight overhaul to the Gameplay. It has been speculated that the Ship buy/sell feature that didn't make it to the Dreamcast version is now a part of the game. There has also been speculation about an increase in the customization properties of Cresent Island Town and your base, and an increase in the number of crew members available throughout the world.

-A new character has been added to the game, a female Bounty Hunter whose name translates to Pistol, her ship is called The Avenger, her weapon is a large Scythe and apparently she's been hired to take out Vyse and crew. There's a few Screen shots in Famitsu Magazine, she appears to be older than Vyse but younger than Gilder, she is dressed in a black leather bikini thing and has blue and silver pointy hair, kinda reminds me of Ryoko from Tenchi Muyo, especially from her expression.

-There will be new elements added to the game, this could mean that the game could be greatly expanded since each element plays an integral part of the story.

-New events have also been added tot he game.

-The graphics will see an enhancement over the Dreamcast version.

-The game has received a name change in Japan, it is now being called Eternal Arcadia Legend.

-Skies of Arcadia will reach store shelves in Japan this fall for the Nintendo Gamecube.

All I can say is damn! It's no secret that this is my favorite RPG, so of course I'm definetly excited about this news. I'm going to keep my eye's open for more news from Sega. For further information, check just about any Gamesite, it should be all over by tommorow morning.</div>

I'm not sure if adding stuff to a great game is a good thing

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>More isn't always better. One of the most part about Skies is that its characters are all pretty likeable and well-developed. I don't like just throwing another character if they can't do a good job on it.

As for the other parts I don't really care enough for say a buy/sell option or customize Crescent Island a bit more to warrant shelling out for the game again, though I guess it's a good thing for those who don't have a DC.</div>

<div style='font: ; text-align: left; '>They are simplifying the ship battles, this might seem petty, but that might be enough to keep me away.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "Fine Hand"; text-align: left; '>And they cancelled the PS2 port. They want to concentrate on GC port instead.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light"; text-align: left; '>I don't get it. I don't get it, nor do I get Lunar. Both were shitty and boring games.</div>

Ship battles need to be shorter, not simpler

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>You can't get too much simpler than the system they already have, IMO, unless they replace the Cannon/Gun/Torpedo thing with just one type of generic weapon.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>You also didn't like Soul Calibur, Zelda, Mario, and many other Critically Acclaimed games, the problems not with the games, it's with your taste.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>They haven't announced any specifications on what the gameplay changes are going to be yet, everything you read is speculation at this point.</div>

<div style='font: ; text-align: left; '>I don't have a link off the top of my head regarding the simplification of ship battles, but I can tell you that one of the first things they said they were changing when they first announced the ports was the simplification of ship battles.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Alright, that I didn't know. Like Don said before, the longest battles in the game are all ship battles.</div>

Well, unless the graphics get a much greater overhaul than the shots I've seen so far...

<div style='font: 9pt Arial; text-align: left; '>...it won't be worth buying again. A rental at most to check out the new scenarios, but this really seems like a waste of time to me. A full sequel that really takes advantage of what the gamecube can do is the only thing that will make me happy. These minor enhancements aren't really gonna make it a better or even different game. All this says to me is that Skies of Arcadia 2 is a ways down the road and unfortunately may depend on the sales, or lack thereof, of a moderately polished port that will look outdated next to other games on the system. Phooey...</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light"; text-align: left; '>I played Lunar: SSS (PSX) and the story was trite and the gameplay was the same old boring crap. The only saving grace was some of WD's Americanized lines.</div>
