Well, got Animal Crossing today, and after a few hours of playing, it's exactly what I thought it would be, like Harvest Moon on serious Steroids,

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>And yes, there does seam to be a ton of dialogue in it. There are lots of places that seam to be expandable somehow, I don't know how exactly but I can assume that you can probably increase the population of the town many times over, lots of spaces for new Houses. Today I started work at a Conveniance Store to help pay off my debt, and I completed all the tasks the owner had for me to do in one day, I also talked to some of the people currently living inthe town, and damn, this game is probably the most non-linear customizable game ever made by Nintendo.

Harvest Moon needs a sort of pattern to be successful, this game allows for many different paths to success. You can buy or trade for a very large number of items that you can move into your house, I also assume judging by comments from the towns folk that you can expand the size of your house, maybe add new rooms. There can be up to four different players playing the game in the same town, there seams to be a lot of link-up features in the game as well for GBA. Also you can go to the train station and travel to other towns that you do not live in (other peoples towns, each town is randomized at the beginning of the game). I am not really sure how the letter system works yet, but you can send letters to anyone in the town it looks like, and I think that they pick up on certain words and such. You can teach people to use your style of talking somehow (according to IGN). That's about all of the features I have uncovered for now. I kind of get the feeling (like I did with Majora's Mask) that even after hours of play with everything available to me I have barely scratched the surface of the game.

Nintendo has a very innovative title on their hands here, and this is exactly the type of game I enjoy and I hope that they use similar elements in the next Zelda game, it will make it a HELL of a lot more enjoyable, and would secure it as possible candidate for best Adventure game ever made. Earthbound 2, if Nintendo ever gets off their ass and makes it could possibly benefit even more from these types of elements, and I hope Enix is taking notes if they ever plan on making a fourth game in the Soul Blazer series, since Terranigma seamed to be going in that direction.

All in all, for first impressions, this game has impressed me more than any Gamecube title as of yet. If Nintendo is all about making fun titles, this definetly fits the bill. To sum it up, if you liked Harvest Moon, you will love this title.

I guess I should also mention that it seams that you can alter your relationship with all of the towns folk depending on what you do. That's all for now, I think I'll play for a bit longer now, it's nearly 8:00 PM here, and when I turn on the game, that's the time it will be there as well as it utilizes the Clock, and it's actually quite neat in the way that if you play the game on Hallowe'en, it will be Hallowe'en in the game, Christmas is Christmas, Valentines is Valentines, your birthday is celebrated, etc... It's really quite amazing (don't cheat and edit the Gamecubes clock, that will take a lot of the fun out of the experience of the title according to the developers). Also as far as text appearing in the game goes, yes, I believe that this game does contain the most text of any game ever made now.</div>

Nope, Animal Crossing goes much deeper than that, also the method of doing jobs and buying equipment and stuff is nothing like the Sims, it's more like Zelda Majora's Mask or Harvest Moon if anything.

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Also, it is the first game that I have seen that generates a random town which has its own culture, people, resources; allows you to buy Videogame Consoles and games and actually play them; allows your character to travel to other towns for business or a visit; several different methods of trading including GBA, Memory card link, the Internet, mailing letters to people in the town and getting a response, gifts, and other stuff. Also, from what I remember the Sims didn't have any text to it, just weird symbols that meant absolutly nothing. I also remember days in the Sims being about 15 minutes or something, but Animal Crossings days are 24 hours, if you turn the game on at Noon, it's Noon in the game, turn it on at midnight, and it's midnight, it is September in the game right now, late Summer and everyone in the town is talking about the events of the Autumn, I don't recall anything like that in the Sims, or any other games I've played for that matter.

If I thought the game had anything that was even worth comparisson towards the Sims, I probably would have said so. The two games are different and don't really have anything in common, doing jobs and acquiring items are as different in those two games as battleing Monsters and improving your weaponry in Warcraft and Zelda.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>To trade an item to someone, go to a shop and tell the manager you want to trade. Enter the name of the town and the name of the character who is recieving the item. List the item(s) you are sending, and the shop owner will then give you a passcode (kind of long so make sure you copy it down correctly). Then just post that code here and I'll receive the item(s) you sent. To get items from me, just go to the shop say your picking up an item, enter in the code I post here and you will receive the item(s). It's not only that you will get rare items that you don't have, it's also that you'll get certain trading commodities from my town that you can sell in your town for a much higher price.</div>

Then my statement is correct and your post is WRONG. The Sims Online isn't even out yet, Animal Crossing has been out for quite a while in Japan already, that would make The Sims Online the ripoff title, and Animal Crossing the Innovative title.

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Well, my town is filled now, three people living in the town of Canadia plus our new trade monkey =P

Anyways check your name carefully to make sure there aren't spaces before, it's an easy mistake for people to make it seams because L is Shift and R is space, a lot of people had problems with it. I also heard there was a glitch in the game if you backspace or something, I'm not sure if there is any truth to it or not. Anyways, also check your town for spaces too. Once that's straitened out I'll send you both NES games: Clu Clu land and Donkey Kong, I'll try to get some more off of IGN or Gamefaqs.

Oh yeah, I guess I should mention the Non player residents in my town:

Fang the Wolf (into Japanese culture)
Bluebear the bear (This is a girl despite the name)
Mitsy the Cat (Moody)
Monique the Cat (Very stuck up and into fassion)
Biskit the Dawg (yes he's a rapper)
Teddy the bear (haven't talked a lot to him, he travels over the town a lot)

That's all for now, I have read of people on IGN who already have more than 15 Resident people living in their towns (this does not include: Nook, the police, Mayor, Postal Worker, or any other other shop people, just the actual residents)</div>

After one day, I'm almost convinced that this might be my favorite Role Playing game of all time. This is exactly what I've been looking for in a Video Game. You should at least try it
