What's the verdict on Timesplitters 2? My housemates and I have been looking for a good multiplayer Gamecube FPS.

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Incidentally, there's too many games to buy. I still want Monkey Ball 2, probably Timesplitters 2, Starfox Adventures, and RE:Zero and Metroid Prime are both coming out in the next two weeks. Heh.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Moneky Ball 2 is awesome, Timesplitters 2, if you liked Goldeneye and Perfect Dark, you will like this game, it is made by mostly the same development team.</div>

<div style='font: italic bold 14pt ; text-align: center; '>teh only flaw is the lack of a jump button....other than that I havn't had this much fun with a game in foeva</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>It took me forever to get used to it on Bond, probably about 5-10 hours of its crappy multiplayer, the C-buttons were much easier.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>It wouldn't have mattered what I used, if it were Skies of Arcadia, Pacman, or Goldeneye instead, I was talking about jumping not being a part of the gameplay.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Jumping is found in most first person shooters, so its absence is actually notable. That's the point.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>I repeat, it is NOT a part of the gameplay, it doesn't matter what other FPS have them, those other FPS's have a different style of gameplay and they mostly all suck compared to GE007, PD, and TS2 anyways.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>In unofficially updated versions of Doom, (like Doom Legacy), yes you can jump. But you can't jump in the original.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light"; text-align: left; '>Yeah, cuz I remember jumping in Quake 2. I haven't touched a FPS in a while (besides one day on the UT 2003 demo).</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Nope. Far as I know, there isn't a single official version of Doom that allows you to jump (excepting the upcoming DoomIII).</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Nope. Doom II was the exact same engine with some new levels, monsters, and one new gun.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "Fine Hand"; text-align: left; '>I swear I could! There were a few places that needed you to jump. The jump doesn't do anything to avoid enemies but just to get to one level. I'm serious!</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>The only so called "jump" is when you'd run fast over a ledge onto another ledge. It had to be done in the second level of DoomII and was needed to get a few secrets in other levels. That's probably what you're thinking of.</div>
