Anyone have played Suikoden 3 or Wild Arms 3? I need suggestion on which one to get, since I can only afford a game to play during the holiday, and both seem to be really good games.

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Don't know anything about either of those, but I am currently playing (and enjoying) Legaia 2. Solid but unspectacular, with occasional drudgery, but there is a ton of stuff to do. If I were you, I'd rent each game for a weekend and see how the first couple hours grab you.</div>
Currently playing Wild ARMs 3

<div style='font: 14pt ; text-align: left; '>Haven't played Suikoden 3 so I can't help you on which game to get. WA3 is a pretty good game. If you've played the first 2 games, 3 is pretty much the same, just with new cell-shaded graphics and a few new tricks.</div>
I can at least tell you to stay away from Grandia.....

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>And going by reviews/word of mouth, I'd say Suikoden 3...in fact, I'm grabbing a PS2 solely for that and GTA:VC.
KO-</div>
Haha, I was one of those who bought Grandia Extreme first

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Played for like 3 hours and haven't been motivated to play. The story is even worse than Grandia 2 or Grandia 1, which is a feat in itself.
Probably should've got Dual Hearts or Wild Arms 3 or Suikoden 3... oh well</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Grandia 2 has good gameplay though, in the battles, some of them, it has a good autobattle engine.... There are some parts I liked in the game, like the very beginning, then I guess it's just all steeply downhill from there, though I remember the cathedral being a pretty cool scene.</div>

<div style='font: ; text-align: left; '>I chose Hugo, only played for around 2 hours.
First, the minuses:
1. The character movements are a bit stiff, especially after playing Kingdom Hearts.
2. Battles are a bit slow, and so far the 'hit the attack button until the enemies die' tactic is still dominant.
3. Music is so-so, unlike the first Suikoden.
4. Movement on the world map is limited to only the nearest places from your current place, so it's a bit troublesome to go back to the previous towns since I have to revisit the intermediate 'dungeons' again.
5. Camera can be confusing sometimes, quite often I find the character moving towards me and I can't see what's ahead of the character, forcing me to rely on the map.
And the pluses:
1. Excellent anime intro.
2. Some of the towns are very beautiful. I like the simple and clean design of the towns.
Well that's it. I'll give it a 7 from my initial playing. Hopefully things will pick up soon.
BTW, is it just me or are the enemies incredibly small? Usually in RPGs most of the enemies are at least as big as the characters, but here the characters are like giants compared to the enemies.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>there are some big enemies later.</div>
Well, in Grandia 2, the Aira arc tricked me into thinking there might actually be a story

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>I think her arc is probably one of the best stories focused around a minor character. Of course that's just a fluke but had my hopes up. Well, to be honest, Malfius isn't too bad, and the beast guy is a pretty good character.</div>
