Pretty much, by Christmas I'll have bought 13 maybe 14 new Gamecube titles just this fall (I already have 7 of those), enough to last me until fall 2004 =P

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Games I've already bought:
-Time Splitters 2
-Tiger Woods Golf (hey, I love Golf and this game is actually quite good)
-Sonic Mega Collection
-Resident Evil 0 (haven't opened it yet)
-Animal Crossing
-Super Monkey Ball 2 (this game is unbelievably fun)
-Starfox Adventures (I actually probably wouldn't recomend this game, it's all about the Arwing levels which is just a weak taste of the Nintendo/Namco Starfox title from what I'm hearing)
Games I still have yet to get
-Metroid Prime (promises to be the best game in years)
-Phantasy Star Online version 1&2 (I'm getting it for the multiplayer offline version, I am not paying a cent just to play games online, maybe it will have some sort of free month or something so I can check it out at least).
-NHL2K3, I might also get Hitz 2003 since from what I've seen it's a huge jump over the last, and last years was fun as hell.
-Mario Sunshine, this game is getting a lot of praise, and I still haven't had much chance to play it yet.
-Mario Party 4, I never miss these games, they're among the best multiplayer games available.
-The new Bond game, I never miss Bond games, I'm a Bond Fanatic.
There might even be more I haven't heard of yet, or just haven't planned on buying yet (still looking at Knockout Kings 2003), but these ones I've listed are all guaranteed. The one game I'm looking forward to the most is the new Zelda which is out early next year, if it comes with the remade version of Ocarina of Time, nothing, and I mean NOTHING is going to stop me from getting my hands on it!</div>

You, being a Nintendo fanatic, will say that, because you have a GC, watch GC sites, and buy GC games. PS2 people, on the other hand, will actually know what's coming out. I made a post about it here...</div>

I was nice...didn't mention Cubes poor multi-system ports (NFSHP2, BR), Clancy series, HotD3, Myst 3, Wild Arms 3, Xenosaga, Panzer Dragoon, Legaia 2, Splinter Cell, TS2, Ratchet & Clank, Kingdom Hearts, Shenmue 2, Battlefield 1942, Giants, BoF5, Deathrow, etc.
If your "Ya, so I was right"...is the best you can do, well I guess I really did do a good job of shutting you up, huh?
As for me, I think the PS2 and Xbox lineup's are looking a lot more healthy than the GC's...I'm betting holiday consumers will share that opinion.

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>You'd think they'd AT LEAST have the fighter category taken care of...but sadly, no. Deathrow is kind of a fighter (good game)...Mortal Kombat, UFC 2, Capcom vs. SNK 2 should be here by next month....
RPG-wise...as per usual during the first year...there is little. Elder Scrolls 3 definately broke the trend of having a consoles first RPG suck though. And I guess there is Baldur's Gate and Shenmue (is this an RPG?).
On the way are:
-Black Stone
-Fable (Project Ego)
-Metal Dungeon
-Starwars: KotOR
-Starwars: Galaxies
-Warhammer
-Sudeki
-Oteki
-Gladius
-Farnation
-D&D Heroes
-Two TBA Microsoft MMORPGs
Some of those are a pretty safe bet for being good...some are of the "who knows" variety.
Thankfully, the PS2 fills the gap.

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>What I'm really looking for is a medival style game (like Gauntlet) for multiple players. I might actually just go for one of the Gauntlet titles instead, I think they're running for around 40-50 bucks now.
I'm also not 100% sure on which game to pick up between NHL 2003 and 2K3, right now I'm leaning towards 2K3 just on what people are saying.
And don't worry, I'm getting an Xbox too, and if anyone is going to get the sufficient 30-40 games for Microsoft to make a profit, it will be me =P
The only thing that may hold me back is the rumor of Xbox 2 coming out in a year and a half to two years. If that were the case, I'd probably just wait and get that instead.</div>
Until I get my "Skill=Salary", "Team Record=Attendence=Team Salary Cap" and a "RPG-like skill improvement in create-a-player's"...I'm only updating my hockey game every 2 to three years...

Me, I dunno...I simply had zero desire to play more than ten minutes of it...so my personal opinion has little merit.

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Right now, IMO, there are more must-haves on the 'Cube than anything else, and for anyone who didn't get one last year, there are tons of others, like Smash Bros., Resident Evil, Eternal Darkness, Pikmin, and Rogue Leader. These aren't good or great games, these are the ones you don't want to miss out on. The PS2 has more "great" games, the Xbox has a few as well (and Halo and Gotham as must haves), but right now, the 'Cube has the most, and even with only 3 must-haves coming out since late August, it's still better than everyone else by FAR. They only have 1 between them, and it's basically an expansion disk. Now, I want Vice City as well (I think GTA3 is the best game on the system), but it's still the same thing as last year. I can easily wait for it used, it's not like I don't have the original to keep me occupied.
And speaking of Sunshine, I've actually liked it the more and more I play it. I was a HUGE fan of Mario 64 mainly because it was new, nothing since in 3D platformer was as good IMO. And the fact that Sunshine didn't have a lot of the traditional Mario stuff like Fire or Ice levels was kinda irritating me....in the beginning. Not to mention this whole jetpack thing. So I picked it up used ($45 Cdn) and gave it a shot, just becauxe it's Miyamoto and I can't recall when he's disappointed me. This one is no different. If you can get past the fact there's no Fire or Ice levels and can deal with the camera (anyone who's had to play 3D platformers in the past has to deal with them; this camera is no better than Mario 64's, unfortunately), you'll find the game is surprisingly excellent. The main world has an amazing amount of stuff going on in it, so it's not just a portal to the different worlds (I think there's like 25 or so shines in there alone) and the missions they send you on in each level have a big affect on what's gonig on in the level, which is pretty neat. After you're done all that, collecting the blue coins and trying to get 100 coins on each level takes A LOT of skill, it's not easy. There's a surprising amount of depth and stuff going it, it really is an excellent sequel, everything you could have hoped for. I was very skeptical, but after about 2 hours, I was completely sold</div>
