I don't think we've done something like this before. I just want to see if anyone would be interested, if I can even get two other people I'd be happy. 16-bit RPG Shrine games. (For those who don't mind playing Roms)....

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>I don't know how many people will be interested, but with exams just around the corner and the Winter break some of us are going to have enough time to actually do this.

It involves replaying classic RPG's and Adventure games from the 16-bit era. This is how it will work.

We'll have a list of lets say 10 games each with a different goal. As an example for a couple of games that may be on the list, Final Fantasy III and Chrono Trigger.

Each game will have a goal, perhaps like (for example, I'm not saying these will actually be goals):

Chrono Trigger, a race, fastest time to get to the Kingdom of Zeal without using New Game+

Final Fantasy III, fastest time to get to the Imperial Capital of Vector.

Of course to prevent cheating, each player would have to use their Shrine names as their character name (because I know there are save files floating around the net where people have rushed through games).

For scoring, we'll just have people check out the save files.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>races games are boring. Just promotes you to run away as much as possible, and with save state it's really easy to get a good time.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>If people want to go through that kind of stress, more power to them! Of course it wouldn't be about races, I was just using that as an example because I couldn't think of anything else at the time.</div>
