  • Ouch. That one's gonna hurt them.....bad.

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

<div style='font: 9pt Arial; text-align: left; '>I'm such a geek, The first thing that popped into my mind was the Wind Waker backstory. Years ago, a boy saves the kingdom (GBA and Nintendo, respectively) from destruction. Now, that kingdom is threatened again, only the boy is nowhere to be found. BTW, how are the GBA's sales doing?</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>I think GBA is doing pretty solid, since it has virtually no competition. But rebuilding an empire as big as the GB might be pretty tough.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>It's really hard to say since the only reliable info we really have access to is all centered on the Japanese market. As far as the market goes, GBA is first place for unit sales in Japan with 1.25M units sold this year (PS2 is second with about 890K, in comparisson)</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>GBA? They can't keep up with it and have far outsold expectations with the SP. They've upped production numbers and even upped the royalty fees they charge for the carts (which hasn't slowed down the development AT ALL). That's their bread and butter while they rebuild the console side of things</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>It's not regular enough and almost always biased. For example, the only reason the big Nintendo sites (PGC, IGNcube, etc...) announced the numbers for March were because Gamecube dominated the console market for that month with a surge in hardware sales along with GBA booming</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Gamespot and Magic Box are pretty good at being objective in that sense. You just have to sift for the news</div>
