Too bad it's a CNN article, their reports are usually inacurate. Some corrections: The PSX was released just over 7 years ago, Xbox was released before the Gamecube, and Gamecube is ahead of Xbox (by 1.3M units WW according to the press conference at E3)

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>What's this 4 player Cube/GBA game they talk about at the end? I haven't heard any reports of that at MB, EA or other GameNews sites.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>I don't even know what the big deal is about Link to the Past anyways, even on SNES there are several games in the same genre that are better. Illusions of Gaia and Terranigma are perfect examples.</div>

OF COURSE they're different games, but they're the same genre and very comparable since the gameplay is almost exactly the same.

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Terranigma hasn't had its chance to find a major fanbase yet, but those who have even heard of the game and have played through are all hard core fans. Illusion of Gaia isn't as good, and it even has the flaw in it that it would take almost a miracle to finish off the last dungeon if you didn't save your cure items, but overall it's one of the most atmospheric games on the system. It's very immersive, something Link to the Past failed to achieve from my view.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt verdana; text-align: left; padding: 0% 10% 0% 10%; '>There's some obscure game for the Genesis that was an obvious Zelda ripoff, but that doesn't matter. I don't care if they're the closest (well known) game, I consider them too different for a meaningful comparison.</div>
