Picked up the Sims for Gamecube, the more goal and reward oriented approach is a HUGE plus for this game, plus characters who actually say things and have personalities makes things much more interesting....

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Just a note, the game won't fit on a memory card 59, I put mine on my 251.

At the beginning of the career mode, you create your first character, pick the family name and everything. The game begins with you dreaming about a girl, the dream ended for me when I joined her in the hot tub.

You live with your parents, and you have a number of goals to complete such as fix the TV, cook supper, borrow 800 dollars, and some other stuff. Then you move into this other place for free, the guy who lived there threw a party and trashed the place. So far the dude seems like kind of an ass, he constantly disses you if you have stuff that he see's as too cheap, and when you have a girl or something over, he won't be seen talking to you because you're too poor or have a lowsy job. Essentially the stage I'm at, you have to impress the cool people to move on.

Graphically this game is far superior to the PC version. The presentation is also way better; There is just way more stuff included in this game than the PC version. The controls took me a few minutes to get used to, but they work amazingly well, to perfection. Overall, I would have to say that the game just seems to have a lot more depth than the PC version. So far I've played about 4 hours, I'll have more in about a week. I can't wait for the sequel =)

This is how the Sims was meant to be.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Maybe you just don't like simulation games. But I don't see how you could have got anywhere in the career mode in just half an hour. Plus I doubt you even looked at the multi-player.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Baskerville; text-align: left; '>Played the PC version for more than a half hour, basically the same...I like sim games that simulate things I can't normally do (Black & White for example), not games where I have to remind a retard to take a piss when his bladder is full...reality is good enough for me...</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Then you played regular mode, I'm talking career mode, it actually has a plot and goals to it, and it works out amazingly well.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "Fine Hand"; text-align: left; '>The console Sims is REALLY better than the PC version. With the set goals and obligations, it's a GOOD thing I resisted playing, otherwise I'd be in the hospital for playing too much.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Baskerville; text-align: left; '>Just as I suspected, you're completely insecure and can't understand someone having an honest opposing opinion...I'm sure if I forced myself to finish a game that was completely devoid of fun for me, I'd end up loving it...makes sense...</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Baskerville; text-align: left; '>Adding something minor like that to a game you already don't like playing will not make you like it...the goals probably made me like it less...</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>I didn't like the PC version, and I agree with Esque, the console version isn't different enough to warrent an entire opinion change on the game.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Baskerville; text-align: left; '><b>Link:</b> <a href="http://www.dictionary.com">Dictionary...it does a body good</a>

...the FACT that I even tried a game that I did not like previous versions of, because of people like you saying how much better and different it was, says a hell of a lot for my ability to give a game a chance. I tried it, discovered that at its core it was the same game and that goals would not change my opinion and I stopped playing...

...I am not in the business of torturing myself by playing a game to completion when I am not enjoying playing it, I don't write for game magazines, I don't get paid to play...

..that would be as stupid as, oh, arguing with someone about their FUCKING OPINION which cannot be wrong because it is their OPINION (see link)...

...heaven forbid someone disagree with Seeker...you'd think the Sims was made by Nintendo or something...oh yeah, it just came out for Gamecube, that's why super-nintendo pimp is out in force...gotta help those third parties out...can't have someone say something bad about a game on a nintendo system...you're such a fucking troll...always have been, always will be...</div>

You played two stages, it is FACT your judgement on the subject is poor on those grounds.
