Playing Xenosaga right now.  Some of the dialogue is kinda cheesy, but otherwise a good game.  The story gets really long at parts (like XG Disc 2), but I actually like storyline (unlike some people here).

<div style='font: 12pt "Cooper Black"; text-align: left; '>not me, thats the reason why i think XG is still my favorite RPG, especially disc 2. Wish i had time to replay it again, but i remember having to lvl real hard and long at parts to buy good equip and learn combos...</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>As much as I hate to say it, I almost want to play that game, if only to see how badly the developers misinterpreted Nietzsche's concept of "the will to power."</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>The will of power is like a one liner at the end</div>

To say you like the storyline would imply there actually was one in Xenosaga...

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>It's basically just a bunch of guys plotting some secret things that they never told you about. It's very easy to make everything some mysterious when you don't have to explain anything.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light", "Century Gothic"; text-align: left; '>Well, I'm sorry if it doesn't live up to the high standard that will never get achieved without a good sci-fi book writer. VG developers simply don't have the millions of dollars to spend on high-quality writers.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Xenosaga doesn't even have a plot. Beat the game and see if you actually know anything about what's going on. You don't because the game never tells you what's going on.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>Damnit Sine, I'll be tempted to beat the shit out of you if you don't spell it right, it's .hack//!</div>

I'll be hardpressed to see another game where you can finish one part and still know NOTHING about the whole story.

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>You could've skipped Episode 1 and began the game on Second Miltia and you wouldn't miss anything. Well you'd miss some pointless flashbacks but then it's not like the flashbacks are in a way that'd actually make sense so I'd assume they'd have to show them again later on to explain exactly what happened.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt "Cooper Black"; text-align: left; '>well, seeing as how there are practically no episode style video games where one game follows the story of another game then i would say you are right.</div>
