Has anyone played Viewtiful Joe yet? It is essentially the apex of 2.5-D action games. Hard as a mother too...plus Alastor from DMC makes a guest appearance as both a villain and a playable character.

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Damned right! Been raving about it since the demo. And the Adult mode is pretty hard. Wait 'til you get to the other two difficulty levels..</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Rent it and play it for a bit. You'll either throw it away or love it</div>
Yeah V-Rated mode is a bastard and I'm only like 1/3 of the way through it.

<div style='font: 11pt arial; text-align: left; '>The game sorta forces you to master it before you can beat Adult mode though, which is good, cause otherwise V-Rated mode would leave you completely in the dust.</div>

After that amazing shit I saw when we played the demo, I had to go pick it up. I still suck, but I have pulled of one 800 View combo.

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Why TF doesn't any one else make 2D Sidescrollers anymore? Castlevania SotN was one of the best games ever period, and VJ just rocks. So, I think there is still a large market out there. The genre is easy to get into, as you never get lost and sometimes even simple button layouts can still be innovative and fun. I think Klonoa used maybe 3 buttons on the PSX controller and it was awesome.
Or maybe I'm just a nostalgic old fuck that loves the sidescrolling format.</div>
