As with most threads coming out of the FOH boards, you probably only need to read what Furor says and that's all you need to know, though at least the first page is surprisingly high quality out of the limbo that Furor describes as a bunch of disgruntled EQ players who had nothing better to do than to whine on FOH boards.

For those who care, there's a FF11 thread going on too:

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Sean was actually more interesting to read than the average FF11 fanboy. Too bad Kreugen doesn't play FF11, it'd actually be a fun thread.</div>

<div style='font: italic bold 14pt ; text-align: center; '>You lost the right to call people fanboy. Only a non-fanboy can call someone a fanboy. and just because you enjoy a game does not make you a fanboy. obsessing over how much better you think it is makes you a fanboy. ok fanboy</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>I am a fan of EQ. You're a FF11 fanboy because while it makes no real difference to me whether you're a fan or a fanboy of FF11, but to you, it does, because you're too obsessed with your game to see otherwise, never mind you're following a game that is inferior by the only metric all MMORPG's success is measured upon. Perhaps it is not fair to say a game with less following has to be inferior but certainly less following does not allow you to conclude the game must be superior, unless you're one of those who believes that the majority has to be stupid so you got to be different.

Only a fanboy can be so obsessed in their own game to think it somehow gives them the upper hand to call someone else a fanboy of another game.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I'd heard stories, but I never truly believed a mere videogame could create a zealous fervor on an almost religious level. Day by day, humanity continues to astound me.</div>

<div style='font: italic bold 14pt ; text-align: center; '>once again, you should have shut up once you got yer head stuck in yer ass. Now it's going to be physically impossible to get it out. You call me a fanboy because I enjoy something more than you do. Allright then. by the way, who's the one being a pompous ass in here.</div>
