  • Knights of the Old Republic as a Dark Jedi is the most fun I've had in an RPG in fucking forever.  I just fucked up an ENTIRE PLANET.

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Resolving the Sandral/Matale feud. I guess it kinda helped that I never actually found Casus Sandral (had no clue where he was until I read an FAQ after I'd already done that part), so it was very easy for me to lie and tell Sandral that Matale really did kill his son, and then I sat back and laughed my ass off as they all killed each other. Whee!!!!!

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Affect Mind. All FP really gets you are some extra credits (not necessary if you win all the swoop races) and Dark Side points (which are incredibly easy to get anyway). Since the game comes down to nothing but your combat skill in the end, it's better to use that extra Force power for a combat one (especially if you're a Guardian).

<div style='font: 12pt "Cooper Black"; text-align: left; '>The questions is, does the game enough replay value to make you want to play it again as a jedi? Is this out for PS2 also?</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Every interaction in the game can be handled completely differently as a Dark Jedi than as a light, and your decisions can make certain sections of the game come out VASTLY different. Not to mention the fact that you have nine possible class combinations for your character, and your class actually does have a big impact on how you end up playing through the game.

All in all, it's well worth playing through at least twice, and 50 bucks for 80+ hours of entertainment isn't bad at all in my book. If you don't have an Xbox, though, I just hope your PC can handle it (the requirements are pretty hefty).

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I plan on replaying as a light jedi, absolutely. I'll pick a different class combo, focus entirely on light side powers, and it should play out differently.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I busted the kid out of jail, both the son and daughter were there, then told the kid that she was using him for his money. He bought it, went home with dad, and she was completely and utterly heartbroken.

Sometimes, killing them is too easy. Emotional damage is the real strength of the dark side.</div>
