You can't go wrong with any of these games

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Note that third party games generally are of a higher quality on Gamecube and Xbox than on PS2 (and Dreamcast if you go back far enough).

These are my favourites in no particular order:

1) Metroid Prime
2) Animal Crossing
3) Zelda Wind Waker
4) The Zelda Bonus disks (includes, The Master Quest, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, The Legend of Zelda, and The Adventures of Link, plus a number of other features)
5) Eternal Darkness
6) Resident Evil (All Resident Evil Games ever made are available for about 15 bucks each)
7) Skies of Arcadia Legends
8) Mario Sunshine
9) F-Zero GX
10) Ikaruga
11) Sonic Adveture 2
12) Sonic Mega Collection (Includes all Sega Genesis Sonic titles, plus comics and other bonus material)
13) Knockout Kings
14) Sonic Adventure Remake
15) Super Mario Kart: Double Dash
16) Resident Evil: Zero
17) Super Smash Brothers Melee (an insane amount put into this game)
18) Viewtiful Joe
19) Wrestlemania XIX (Wrestlemania X7 sucked though)
20) Mario Golf

Third Party:

1) Splinter Cell
2) Prince of Persia
3) Tiger Woods 2003 (even though this one is missing Mike Weir, 2004 might have him)
4) NHL 2004
5) SSX Tricky (though Part III is out now, it might be better, but Tricky is dirt cheap now)
6) Medal of Honor Frontline (Rising Sun sucks and costs about 3 times as much, Frontline costs under 20 bucks, like 15 USD).
7) NHL Hitz (there are several new versions, but the original was insanely fun, and it's dirst cheap)
8) Sonic Heroes
9) NHL 2K3
10) True Crime: Streets of LA

Upcoming Games to look for this year:

1) Metroid Prime II
2) Geist
3) Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes
4) Tales of Symphony
5) Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker II
6) Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life
7) Baten Kaitos (An RPG by Namco/Monolith)
8) Resident Evil 4
9) Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles
10) Legend of Zelda: The Four Swords
11) Star Fox II
12) Animal Crossing 2
13) Camelot
14) Custom Robo II
15) Ghouls N Ghosts Online
16) Super Mario Brothers
17) Super Mario RPG II
18) Too Human
19) Pandora Tommorow
20) Virtua Fighter: Cyber Generation</div>

Games I've got...

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Wind Waker: No freakin' contest.

Eternal Darkness: It's good, but I never really got into it. One day I do plan on starting over and playing through it, but I got it with a few other games and it got left by the wayside.

Prince of Persia: Looks good, haven't got far yet.

Animal Crossing: Insanely addictive, if you can give in to your obsessive collector side. Plus, it's amusing teaching your animals how to curse, and watch them teach each other.

Resident Evil: Very nice remake, fucking scary as hell if you play at night in a dark room (AAH SPIDERS). Probably just worth a rental, though it should be insanely cheap used now.

Mario Sunshine: If you enjoy Mario games, this is worth a playthrough.

Starfox Adventures: You can probably find it for $15 or so now, and for that price it's a worthwhile little adventure game. Nothing spectacular, but fun enough.

F-Zero GX: Hardest racing game I've ever played. Fastest racing game I've ever played. So fun.

Soul Calibur 2: Duh?

Super Smash Bros Melee: Great multiplayer game.

Timesplitters 2: Very solid multiplayer FPS if you don't mind some really random weapons/characters/settings. A bit reminisicent of Goldeneye multiplayer, though not as good.

Mario Kart Double Dash: I wasn't that fond of the N64 one, but I rather enjoy this. If you like the Mario Kart franchise, you know what to expect.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>You'll probably be able to find it used in a couple months. That's how I got the GC Ocarina/Master Quest disc.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Soul Calibur 2, Viewtiful Joe, Mario Kart, Mario Party (for multi), Pac Man World 2 Greatest Hits (with Pac Man Vs), Resident Evil...and I'm not at home to see what I have.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>If you buy any Nintendo published games, go to www.nintendo.com and register them, you get the new bonus disk free (not the master quest one, but the one with all other console exclusive Zelda games). You need to register 2 games. Or you can subscribe to Nintendo power for it,</div>

Smash Brothers Melee, SSX Tricky (since it's cheap), Mario Kart, and NHL Hitz, and Animal Crossing I have found are the best multiplayer games if that is what you are looking for.

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Actually, playing the NES games on AC I found to be amazingly fun, right now though that is the major reason I have even tuirned on the game in the last year or so. But other people play my games a lot more than I do anyways, and Animal Crossing is a favourite.</div>
