Here is what I know of the system so far

by Julius Seeker
<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>It has dual processors, one which runs at 133 mhz, and another at 266 mhz (in comparisspn, the PS2 runs at about 300, Dreamcast at about 200, N64 at about 100, and the Gameboy Advance at about 17mhz). They are using a lighting which is supposedly superior to the GBA SP.
Other features
-two 3 inch screens (same size as the GBA SP each)
-the two screens can be used as one large screen
-DS cartridges may contain up to 128 MB of storage space (or one Gigabit, in comparisson, Zelda Ocarina of Time was 32 Mb's)
Originally it was rumoured to be a portable system that would be backwards compatable with SNES and N64 titles (similar to that system released in China recently). No official announcements have come yet as to what is compatable and what is not. It was also said to be able to interact with the hardware of Gamecube's and GBA's successor.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>It just doesn't appeal to me. I think you have to be a certain type of person to enjoy playing the majority of games online, to me it just feels like a big waste of time in the worst way possible.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "Fine Hand"; text-align: left; '>Same could be said about all video games, in general. They're all a waste of time.</div>
Some people probably do feel that way about videogames in general, not me, I have a lot of fun playing them. But I find online games to be too time consuming and boring.

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>For example, someone like Tessian who can play 40-60 hours of a game in a few days, hates humanity, and likes Starwars may enjoy online games, or even shoot up a classroom when they make fun of his trench coat. But I only play about 2-5 hours any week of the year. When I am playing mutliplayer games, I like to have everyone in the same room; I just find that having it online defeats the purpose since you can't really have a real conversation, have a few beers, go out to the bars later, or anything like that. I generally will not play a game unless it is with other people, too boring otherwise.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt verdana; text-align: left; padding: 0% 10% 0% 10%; '>Okay, think it through. You can't use RAM as permanent storage. Not to mention that they don't just take PC parts and stick them in cartridges.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light", "Century Gothic"; text-align: left; '>Of course, but permanent storage (ROM) is easier to make than RAM. All they need is a 128MB ROM chip and maybe 2MB of CMOS.</div>
