Thoughts on Crystal Chronicles?  From Gabe's rantings over at PA this may be a game I'd actually spend my time playing...

<div style='font: 11pt arial; text-align: left; '>There are some weird things about it...i.e. you lose all your magic/abilities after you complete a dungeon. I'll be playing it with my friend and his cousin when it comes out though.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt arial; text-align: left; '>It would annoy me too, but in my opinion if you DON'T have a GC and a GBA then you're an idiot anyway!</div>

same, multiplayer and RPG is a contradiction of terms.

<div style='font: 12pt "Cooper Black"; text-align: left; '>Some of my friends play video games, hardly any play RPG's, some of us have GC, sopme of us have GBA... none of us have GBA and GC and schedules where we could all get together to play.

I'm sure its fun as hell, but it sure is targeting a small market, which is a shame.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt arial; text-align: left; '>Well, you only need one GC...just multiple GBAs...and the little link cable thingies</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light", "Century Gothic"; text-align: left; '>Or in college. Not everybody has $300 to throw down on a game.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt arial; text-align: left; '>300 dollars? A non-SP GBA is only 60-70 bucks. The linky-cord dealie is like 10.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt Dominion; text-align: left; '>and the investment on buying games for it? I just blew over $300 buying a PS2 and games/accessories and I got a Damn good deal on it all too</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light", "Century Gothic"; text-align: left; '>Nobody is going to spend money on a GBA that doesn't light up, so it's $100, plus the $10 for the cord, plus $50 for the game. Of course, if you're playing multiplayer, there's another set of GBAs there. Honestly, I'd rather spend that money on Steel Battlation.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light", "Century Gothic"; text-align: left; '>Yeah, mine was about $400-450, and I'll still buying controllers.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt arial; text-align: left; '>I did. I don't like the SP design personally. And my previous point still stands that any gamer could use a GBA anyway</div>

$50 + $100 +$10 = $160. That's assuming you buy the game, a GBA SP, and the cord. Adding in the cost of the other GBAs is silly, unless you were thinking people are going to buy GBAs for their friends.

<div style='font: 10pt verdana; text-align: left; padding: 0% 10% 0% 10%; '>Personally, I think it's a great concept and I wish I could play it. And from what I know about it, the each-player-has-a-GBA solution is the most natural solution for allowing people to go through menus and such without interfering with gameplay for everyone else. I wish they allowed multiplayer without the GBAs, but every time I try to figure out what it would be like, it involves partitioning the screen in akward ways.</div>
