What is the trick to getting on a specific server in FFXI? I remember it has to do with hitting escape, etc, and looking at your server.
- Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.
<div style='font: 12pt "Cooper Black"; text-align: left; '>create your character all the way to the screen where if asks you to link your character to a handle then back out to the main screen. Now, when you go to delete your character it will say which server you are on, obviously if you got the right server, back out of the delete screen and go back to linking your character to a handle. This process prevents you from having to wait for your character to get all the way in the game and from having to watch the opening FMV a zillion times till you get the right server. If on the delete screen you have the wrong server, delete the character and remake, luckily the settings of your last character will still be there so re-creating the same guy is fast and easy.</div>
