<div style='font: 11pt Dominion; text-align: left; '>having a bit of trouble, mainly because I hate losing and having to go through that ice cicle place again. What tactics did you guys use to kill off Jecht's Final Aeon? I've looked at gamefaqs and I know it has 2 forms but the tactic hasn't worked for me. Bare in mind I never got the lvl 4 keys to get Ultima, but I do have Holy.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Use Holy or Wakka to knock out the Pagodas. Use the talk command on the 2nd form before he has overdrive charged up. Armor Break + Quick Hit once Pagodas are down. If this doesn't work you need to get some double HP items (steal from Adamantoise).</div>
Yeah, use those items that give you spells are only 1 and the double life items. Of course haste everyone when you get the chance.

<div style='font: 12pt "Cooper Black"; text-align: left; '>Dont the pogoda things get stronger if you dont kill them in just one shot? Make sure you can kill them with only one casting of Holy or else they become a bitch to deal with later on. I found that Tidus with haste and QH was doing all my damage while everyone else was support casting spells or shooting off an Ultima (in your case Holy). Also, after reloading your save and before you fight, you may as well use all your special sphere's, if you havent already, you wont need to hang onto them and giving people extra abilities is always useful.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt "Cooper Black"; text-align: left; '>for curiosity i looked into it and the Three Stars item brings all magic and skills down to 0 mp for the battle. I got 60 of them by capturing fully 2 areas in that monster capturing mini-quest thing. Best item ever.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Pagodas get more HP when they reactivate again regardless of how you kill them.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Pagodas regenerate over time but having Pagodas down prevent Jecht from using Power Wave, which only heals him but cures Armor Break. If you can get Armor Break to stick on him you can do double damage (or more) easily.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Well I tend to play RPG with underleveled (not on purpose though) characters so I have to know all these tricks to get through</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>It comes back, but it's better to kill both and then armor break. If you kill one, the other one will use a lot of status effects which will mess you up unless you've the right proof abilities.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Your characters have to be really strong to take on Jecht without killing the Pagodas. It makes it much harder because he gets Overdrive much quicker, plus you also can't Armor Break him, and with his defense is makes the fight twice as long at least unless you've high str values.</div>
