<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>Sorry, but that cartoony cell shading crap just bothers me, I played through the game, it's tons of fun, but I'd prefer realistic over cell shaded any day.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>To each his own. I thought the simplicity and fluidity of the cartoon style made WW incredibly beautiful. Of course, I've had an overwhelmingly positive experience with cel shading (WW, Viewtiful Joe, and the Jet Set Radio games).</div>

Forget the graphics. I'd much rather complain about what a tedious bore it is to explore vast yet barely differentiated squares of water while constantly having to check the wind direction.

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>It was the sailing that ruined Wind Waker for me--driving that damn Tonka boat around while using my little fairy princess wand to "conduct" the wind never struck me as an entertaining mode of exploration, which is at least half of what Zelda's gameplay is all about. Song of Storms helped, but then there's that irritating bit near the end of the game where you have to go spelunking for triforce pieces, which is really just the videogame equivalent of busy work, killing time until the inevitable final showdown.

Games like Zelda that insist on exploration should concentrate less on increasing travel times between unique locations and more on the quality of exploration within a given area. Ocarina of Time had a similar problem with its vast yet relatively barren environments; Lttp, by contrast, offered quite a lot of things to do in a smaller "world-space," and had negligible travel times. It's entirely arguable whether Lttp is a better game than OoT for this reason alone, but I find myself playing the former more often because of it (although I think OoT is a great game, regardless). For the record, I've played through Wind Waker exactly once, and have no intention of ever touching it again.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Yeah but with the simplicity there is a ton of great detail put into it. a lot of intricacies. just the way his eyes react. The rest of him as well displayed a gopod deal of emotion in suck a simple way</div>

Yeah, I loved WW, but had similar complaints...

<div style='font: bold 9pt ; text-align: left; '>The sailing was tedious with not nearly enough to do in the water. I would find myself aiming my little boat and putting the controller down to read, looking up every so often to make sure I wasn't being attacked. The whole searching for the Triforce thing was annoying too.

The dungeons, I loved. That part of the game was great except for my 2nd complaint which was that the game was too easy. I never saw Link die, not even in boss fights.

The graphics were perfect to me. I like the realistic style the new GC game is taking also, but I thought the cel-shaded cartoon look was awesome and they did it perfectly.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Agree with you on every point. I sail and then change the channel....It does get tedious. at least you can make the wind work for you....makes it a ton easier. Nevertheless though it is still a very fun game when you get into the dungeons.</div>

I liked the Dungeon design myself, it was easy, but no easier than your typical Japanese Adventure or RPG title. It's not annoyingly easy like Link to the Past either.

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>There are like maybe 8-10 locations in Link to the Past that actually require any real amount of thought to get past; I don't enjoy the game because it seems irrelivant to play through it due to its simplicity. Even the first Zelda game had a lot more involved in the realm of actual challenge.

As for Wind Waker, I didn't find the sailing to be really that bad, but I did NOT like the idea that the game did not take place in Hyrule or even Termina. There was not enough land to explore. The games atmosphere did not feel like Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask, and the game seemed to lack the intensity of those two games; whether it was the graphics or what, I don't know, it was probably a combination of a lot of things.

If you're a fan of the Zelda series, and like a wicked challenge, then I highly recommend getting Master Quest. It is probably my favourite game on the face of the planet; take one major ingredient, Ocarina of Time (widely considered to be among the very best games, and the very best game of all time), add in MUCH more difficult dungeons with many new different things to do, higher resolution graphics, more difficult enemies, and you have the Master Quest; the ultimate evolution of Ocarina of Time.

Yes, I can't wait for the new Zelda game, if I only buy one more game this generation, it will be that one.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt arial; text-align: left; '>Well, the formula works if it's done right (e.g. Jak II). WW's concept ("Hey, let's make the ocean the size of a REAL ocean and make players sail across it over and over!) was less than stellar.</div>
