Todd Hollenshead, id's chief executive, said Doom 3 will require:

• A 1.5-gigahertz Intel Pentium 4 chip or AMD Athlon 1500.
• 384 megabytes of memory.
• Two gigabytes of hard drive space.
• An nVidia GeForce 3 graphics card or better; or an ATI Technologies 8500 or better.

Looks like my system can handle it, and maybe with some of the extra eye candy turned on.

Athlon XP 1800 (OC'ed to XP 2000)
768 DDR PC2100 RAM
Over half of my 80 gig HD left
ATI Radeom 9600 pro</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Goddamnit. I don't have the memory or the processor (256mem, 1.2gig processor). The memory isn't a problem, but updating my goddamn processor? Man, I think I'll wait for a while before buying it, and just get a new computer.</div>
