Mega Man X7: there is not a donkey cock large enough in this world for this game to suck on. It's far beyond bad, it's just brutal. The 3D levels are brutal and destroy the game, not to mention the inexcusably awful voice acting. Worst MM game BY FAR.

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>God I hated MMX7, and they're keeping it 3D for X8, so I guess X7 sold well. :/</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>X8 is 2 1/2 D (3D graphics with 2D gameplay), that was the only part of X7 that was decent. Let's hope they learned from their mistakes. And I don't think X7 did any better or worse than the X games for the PSX overall (critics here apparently hated X7)</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I'm not completely sold on the Cyber-elf thing. I've beaten about 5 or 6 levels and only used one so far. I've tried feeding them, but nothing yet. I guess you have to feed them all 1000 at once or something. And their powers are useless so far, especially since they disappear once you use them once</div>

You're preaching to the choir, man (link is to the original X7-bashing thread way back in November).

If I recall correctly, I spent all of an hour playing X7 before I couldn't take it any more and traded it in for Crimson Skies (which turned out to be one of my better decisions). Needless to say, I will be renting any future X games before buying, including the new RPG that comes out next month (I want to at least see what it's like).

I do have to get Zero 2 one of these days, but have to get through OoT Master Quest and Deus Ex: Invisible War first. The neverending list of games continues...

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Oh, I remember, I was just giving my 2 cents worth now that I've actually played it. I just can't believe it's that bad of a game, especially since the PSX ones (especially X4) were so good</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Only use the permanent ones. The one time use stuff is pretty weak except the stuff that takes half of a boss's energy off. You won't really need them in Z1 except against hard Leviathan and the final boss.</div>
