Completely uncharacteristic of Square to release a Final Fantasy game without 6 months of hype behind it. Either way, Square dropped the ugly Roman numeral thing for FF12 (unless that's changed), I wish these videogame sites would too.</div>

This is another exception, primarily because it's gone through enough changes from FF10 that FF3e had with FF2e.</div>
