Alright, now that the DS is out to gigantic record breaking success; what about the PS portable which is out very shortly? Do you think it will follow a similar path to the DS, or think it will be another Gamegear?

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Hard to say, I know I'll be picking it up but I'm not the masses. I'll get it for the different type of gaming experience it will offer from the DS.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I've been sayin' for years: you simply cannot succeed with a handheld system if the battery life is going to be 4 hours (3 for movies). They have to have it succeed as something other than a games system</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>Graphically it's looking downright amazing. Other then that I don't know much about it, launch titles, 3rd party support, battery options, etc.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Well, specs say 10 hours for DS, 4-5 for PSP for games, and 3-4 for PSP for movies. That generally will translate to about 9 hours or so for the DS (Nintendo's usually close to specs), and likely a max of 4 for PSP for games and 3 for movies. That's portable-DVD player type battery life. Not good</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Good third party support, surprisingly low price point ($199 US), which should help it out a LOT at launch, but horrid battery life (see below). The price point and Sony marketing should help give it a spectacular launch, we'll see after that</div>

<div style='font: 12pt Arial; text-align: left; '>Personally, I'd much rather have a PSP than a DS.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>I think the battery life is more than 10, because mine is still running fine and has been on for more than 10 hours without recharging.</div>
