They were next to impossible to find in L.A. when I looked, but I found a package deal thing going on at a specialty toy store. Came with Jak II and Gran Turismo 3, I had to buy a game at full price so I got MGS 3, and then I got FFX and Soul Calibur II.</div>

The first major thing that I'm concerned about is the post that I'm linking to, because I feel like it may have spoiled FFX for me, and I may be reduced to a broken shell if that has happened. Is this Penny Arcade strip a spoiler?</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Gran Turismo 3 is wonderful, I had no idea a driving game could be this much fun. Best thing is I'm not really addicted to it like some other games, so when I play it's just for a half hour or hour at a time, and it's so relaxing.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I haven't played MGS3 very much yet. Penny Arcade didn't like it at all. I started skipping Codec conversations before the game even started so that may be a bad sign, but we'll see. The grass is f***ing amazing though.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Finally, I haven't really played Jak II, maybe it'll be useful if I'm bored someday. And FFX is the greatest game for any system ever. I hope to God it hasn't been spoiled for me by Penny Arcade. And if anyone on this board spoils any of it for me know that you will have ruined a poor man's soul.</div>

Really? I am sure I made at least 17 different threads praising the game since its release =)   I think overall I enjoyed Soul Calibur on Dreamcast more though.

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Soul Calibur 2 is a great game, but it is more like an expansion to the original game than a brand new thing. They weakened some characters, most notable of these was Cervantes who I will agree was overpowered in the first one. I liked the music, story, and mission mode in Soul Calibur more than Soul Calibur 2. The best new thing in Soul Calibur 2 was the addition of Link, he's not the best character (Raphael is my best to use now) but he is the one I find the most fun to play because of the flashy looking attacks.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>I wouldn't worry too much about it, the plot is fairly strait forward and predictable, if you know something ahead of time, it won't really make a difference in your enjoyment of the game.</div>

<div style='font: bold 9pt ; text-align: left; '>My friend bought a new, thin one from the EB next to where he works.

They were selling them in a bundle for $200 with the PS2, a controller, a memory card, and a game and maybe some other stuff.

He traded in his old PS2 and 2 PS2 games for $100 store credit.

He then took all of the extra stuff to a Walmart and returned it for store credit there.

He basically broke even and got the game as a Christmas present for his brother-in-law. :)</div>

Not a bad plan

<div style='font: 10pt Tahoma; text-align: left; '>When i was younger i would return things on sale at one store to Toys R Us for a higher store credit. Only at Toys, they give you Geoffrey Dollars (paper monopoly type money), so if i got something like a $50 Geoffrey dollar i would buy a $1 pack of gum or something and the idiots would give you the $49 in cash instead of more Geofrey Dollars.</div>
