It's not April Fools day yet, so I won't mess with you, it's a mock up.

If that's representative of what the PS3 will look like, then bravo, Sony. You managed to top yourself and make something uglier than the PS2.

It looks like one of those Polaroid cameras that they had in the 1950's

I think the overall "film-roll" design is kinda cool, actually. The front panel needs sweetenized by at least 25% though.

I find the PS2 to be the nicest-looking of this gen's consoles, especially the new slim model.

I'd be really surprised if the PS3 ends up looking like this piece of garbage.

Again, like he said, it's a bogus rumor and mock up. WARNING: THIS PICTURE IS NOT REAL! Geesh.

Anyway, I thought this to be funny:
RUMOR #2: The Nintendo Revolution's controllers will be DS-style touch screens.

The official story: "Nintendo does not comment on rumors or speculation"--Nintendo spokesperson.
RUMOR #3: The real reason for the current Xbox shortage is that Microsoft is repurposing its manufacturing to crank out next-gen Xboxes in time for Q4.

The official story: "Microsoft does not comment on rumors or speculation"--Microsoft spokesperson.
Damn corporate machines are like automotons.

The new slim model is nice, but the other machine has a generic look. It's really nothing special. At least Xbox's super size and 'Cube's unique look are different (previous machines were all just standard lookin' IMO)

I liked all three of last generations systems (replace the PSX with the PS1); though the Dreamcast and Saturn thing is difficult. Though Saturn was a 32-bit system, I always think of the late SNES days when I think of it, and the Dreamcast with the late PSX/N64 days.

The PS2 also didn't have the benefit of seeing what the other consoles' designs were going to be. I can't say that I really find this generation of consoles to be as nice looking as the last generation.
