I can only vouch for the game that I played, but RE4 would come close, even though I've haven't played it myself.

I say BG&E because any others on that list you've heard of and heard lots about, but BG&E is the best game on the new gen systems that no one has played and is easy to overlook. It's also only about 7 hours total, so you can easily go to another game afterwards. And what a spectacular game it was...

I said BG&E because it was a great experience and a game I had a lot of fun with.
I would suggest RE4 next simply because it was amazing.

Looks like BG&E is gonna be the choice so far. I actually figured that San Andreas would be the winner of this, but no votes.

I picked RE4 because that's what I want to play. I don't think BG&E is as good as some give it credit for. I lost interest when I didn't want to do yet another stealth-fest dungeon.

I'm also in the "BG&E is overrated" camp. It's solid, but meh.

Yeah, RE4 next would be my choice too....
The only prob with BG&E is the length...and maybe the difficulty (it's quite easy). But you don't waste time battling enemy horde after enemy horde, artifically increasing the length of the game. Basically every battle is helping advance the storyline. Kinda like Panzer Saga, it's about half as long as games like it but packs in just as much.

I bought two titles yesterday at EB games on clearance that I don't think I could have passed up: 1080 Avalanche (even though I already have SSX1-3) and Ark Lad (some sort of RPG I think, I don't have it handy to find out the exact name of the title) for PS2. I know I probably won't get around to playing them much, but when you have games being cleared out for 80% off, if they even look interesting, I will almost always pick them up =)

Yeah, I've got a ton of potentially good games that I've bought for $10-15. I still have that copy of XIII that I need to play.

Just don't play Tales of Symphonia whatever you do.

I haven't heard of anyone who hasn't loved Tales of Symphonia. I also haven't heard of anyone who has finished the game in less than 50 hours =P
I have always found that those games take a while to complete. I really like the series though, so I do plan to play it likely as my next RPG. I forgot that I also had Star Ocean III to play, but that game is just not quite on par with Symphonia; which is too bad, I paid full price for that one and probably won't get around to playing it until next year.
As it stands, it looks like I am playing Symphonia next after BG&E which I just started playing.
I am currently playing Lunar Legend for handheld, it is an excellent game and I recommend it to anyone with a DS or GBASP. I am enjoying it more than I did the Silver Star Story; it is the same story as SSS but carried out differently and with more mainstream style and faster paced mechanics. Graphics have also been improved for the most part.

RE4 and San Andreas easily top that list.

Actually, I think I am going to start Tales of Symphonia right away. A friend of mine just pointed out that the battles can be played multiplayer, up to 4 players. This is the way I like to play RPG's.

Black & White got major hype when it came out, but then got bad reviews. However, i bought it and really liked it. Its a fun pet trainer, city building, continent conquering game that has good graphics, handling and story.

I messed around with Black and White: Creature Island a bit. I think I should probably read the instructions or something before doing more. I do not really understand the point of the game yet.
