Yamauchi officially stepping down from Nintendo board

"Yamauchi declined to accept his director's retirement benefit from Nintendo. While the amount of this benefit was not disclosed, it is rumored to have been between 1 billion to 1.5 billion yen ($9.4 million to $14 million)."

It's just funny how they made it a huge point that he turned down a benefit in the area of 9 million dollars when he is a multi-billionaire. A few million is like pennies to him.

He's still my next favourite videogame company owner in history next to Okawa. Emperor Yamauchi =)
