The Shrine

I've not yet played this, but I know a bunch of people who have been positively floored by this game.

PC action RPG made by a two person design team. Apparently fantastic combat system, including full mounted combat. Can also recruit and train up your own units/armies.

Probably worth checking out. It's still in development for now, so it's free to try, and it's reduced price shareware until the game is completed. Worth a look.

I just lost my damn evening to this game.

You'll be cackling with glee the first time you shoot a guy's horse out from under him and he goes flying.

Seriously, check this out. This is great.
