Okay, that shit over in movies has gotten me all itchy for some good old fashioned listing action...i said listing...

Okay, we'll start off easy...top ten favorite RPG's of all time...any system, any RPG genre that by consensus falls into the RPG category ie. traditional, strategy, action etc. Feel free to elaborate or argue to your heart's content...and Zeus, you know I'm gonna have it as number 1 so just load up both barrels...

I'll be basing mine mostly on amount of times I've replayed them...

For the record, my definition of an RPG is turn based or using an action bar and the usage of an encounter system (I do not consider any Zelda, Fire Emblem, Ogre Battle/tactics, Soul Blazer series game to be RPGs. I also will not list Vagrant Story either because I believe it is best defined as an adventure game). Knights of the Old Republic, Tales of Symphonia, or Shadow Hearts: Covenant arealso not on there because I have yet to finish them, they may very well end up being on my favourite RPGs of all time list. Needless to say, any of the games I mentioned above are games I love.

So my list is as follows:

The list is not completely in order, but generally this is how I feel my favourite RPGs currently fall into place.
