Borrowing this from a friend and damn is it fun. Addicting, too - I've been up until 1 and 3 AM the past two nights screwing around with my career players (I love tennis games that let you train/specialize your character).
Just wanted to let any Xbox-owning folks around here know that it would be good for a pickup, and probably would be real cheap at this point. I haven't been this addicted to a tennis game since Top Players Tennis for the NES way back in the day.

I just recently got it for $10 Cdn, but haven't had a chance to play it. Supposed to be a good follow-up to your tennis playing after Virtua Tennis, which I loved. Played both of them quite a bit.

Awesome, I love Tennis games, I only own Mario Tennis and Virtua Tennis though, both games are a blast.

I was futzing around reading some reviews a couple minutes ago, and Top Spin has been described as Virtua Tennis that plays and looks better (I never played VT for some unfathomable reason, considering I had a DC and heard how good VT was all the time).
The only complaint is that the career mode in TS isn't as deep/enjoyable as than in VT - which I can understand, seeing as how I've fully trained two characters and gotten one of them to the finals of a Grand Slam in only eight hours of play - however, TS does have online play if you have Xbox Live...which I actually don't.
Heh. S'fun anyway.

Bah, Microshaft and their online play. They do have the best setup with Xbox Live, but they should have learned something when Socom 2 destroyed nearly everything in total regular players (over a million). If they didn't give away the free 2 months, they'd have less than 1/3 of the "subscribers" they currently have. I want to know how many actually paid for it and use it, not who got it with a game (Halo 2, for instance) and tried it out but never bought it.
Online play is going to be free for everyone except them and that's how it should be. That might actually hurt them in the end if Sony goes free
