PvP vs Penny Arcade

Sooo who did I throw in with? PvP and the Horde of course. I knew from the outset that they'd be the underdogs, so I threw in with them.

I'm Olarethil, Undead Priest.

What I want to know is if any other Shriners are secretly playing a part in the Webcomics war? Eric, Don, Torgo or Ish?

I"d have thrown in due to them being Horde, not out of any grand love for PvP.

Fuck the Horde, and your imbalanced ass Shaman.

Alliance: When generic fantasy isn't generic enough!

Horde: When you like living in hovels, and your women are all unattractive.

You'll have to forgive me for not choosing MMO avatars based on whether or not I can wank to them.

Admitadly I did not play through my NE rogue to a high level, stopping at 32. Yet, already I'm enjoying the feel, and the locales, of the Horde far more.

The sense of brooding evil about my Undead, the Majesty of the Tauren and the ruthlessness of the Orcs is well presented. They have personality, while the Alliance races are just... well we've been there.

The only difference between the two sides is that orcs get the whack-a-peon newbie quest and the first 'a new plague' quest in Undead newbie land is interesting. After that they might as well be the same.

Alliance: Go kill 10 of these guys, because it's for the Light.
Undead: Go kill 10 of thse guys, because it's EVIL.
Rest of horde: Go kill 10 of these guys for the horde.

I like the tree hugging Taurens making TNT and asking Undead for some *help* too. Nice consistency there.

The alliance is freakin corrupt. Stormwind is run by a bloody dragon. King Magni's daughter is boning his worst enemy and pregnant for em. And if you can't tell Arch Druid Staghelm is evil from how he constantly talks down on you, ya got issues. ;p

Other then that, like Don said, both side have you same basic quests, go kill wh atever x number of times.

What the heck is Tirande and Malfurion doing? I thought they're the head of the NEs. I guess Malfurion might be back to the Emerald Dream but Tirande isn't a druid.

Random unrelated rant on faction and horses:

Dwarf: "Great hero, you've saved the king's daughter and saved a dam from being blown up which would've killed a ton of dwarves. You have slain Thrall and Cairne Bloodhoof who we are supposed to be at peace with. What can we ever do to reward your help?"

You: "Can I buy a goat?"

Dwarf: "I'm afraid you still have much to prove before we can entrust one of our goats to you."
