Well, it is coming to North America in Spring 2006.

It is as would be guessed, dialogue (with anime styled avatars) takes place in the lower screen, as well as all item selection, etc... The top screen features the action, control is done with the D-pad. It also seems there are navigational short cuts using the bottom screen as well "we returned home (with the press of a single button using the stylus),"

There is also a fourth Gamecube Harvest Moon Title (the third one is actually just an update of the first Gamecube one, and it was never released here). This one does not seem to have the same style graphics of the first one but rather more along the lines of the N64 style. Gameplaywise, it has gone back to the traditional style of Harvest Moon (rather than the ultra-long lifetime story of the first Gamecube one: Harvest Moon - A Wonderful Life). It seems to have all the features of the older Harvest Moon games rolled into one; players can play as a male or female.

I might look at both depending on the price; my price range for a console Harvest Moon is $29.99 since I already own three of them (The original SNES one, the PSX one, and the N64 one). I do not have any handheld ones yet, though I know someone who has Friends of Mineral Town (I have yet to play it). The DS one, I have been looking forward to for quite some time though.

I just preorderd the Mario Kart DS bundle with the best colour (got it for 43% off; I love it when EB makes stupid promotions that I can take advantage of using their own inventory  ), so I have a lot of DS games to catch up on. The ones I'm lookin' into (that are already out) are:

Trauma Centre
Trace Memory
Nintendogs
Kirby
Wario Ware
Castlevania
Pac Pix
Metroid Pinball
Lost in Blue
Phoenix Wright

What are the other titles you guys think I should get? The bundle doesn't come in 'til Nov 28th, so I have a little time to decide :-)

I haven't played a lot of those, but I have only heard good things about them. Advance Wars Dual Strike is easily the best of the series by far. Then of course, Bomberman is a lot of fun as well. There are also a lot of games coming up over the next couple of months that you may want to look into; there are various lists posted throughout Gamethought in other threads.

Oh yeah, forgot about Advance Wars. I loved the other two, so I'll get that one for sure.

I also have an opportunity to pick up Jump Superstars import copy. I'm really tempted, but it's $65 Cdn.....
