If you can believe that Dragon Warrior games routinely sell 3-4.5 million in Japan, then you can believe this.

Games over there are like movies over here.
Utada Hikaru's "Hikari" (the ending theme to Kingdom Hearts) hit #1 on their pop charts. Madden soundtrack soundtrack notwithstanding, I can't see *any* American game's theme doing that over here, at least not yet. But movies do it all the time here...
