Bad news, Mega Man fans.
Well, some fans. The ones who like the voice acting we've been getting as of late, anyway.
According to 1UP.com's Jeremy Parish in reply to Red Draco's LiveJournal, it would seem that the US version of Rockman ZX for the Nintendo DS will lack a localized voiceover, instead rendering the included anime cutscenes with subtitles over the original Japanese dialogue, perhaps not entirely unlike Mega Man X6(not including the Mega Man X Collection version, which did away with those voices as well), and cutting down on any voicebits in gameplay to mere grunts, similar to the localization of Mega Man X5.
For many, this is sure to come as a disappointment after the well-received voice-acting by The Ocean Group for this year's Mega Man Powered Up and Mega Man: Maverick Hunter X for the Sony PSP.
With less than a month away until the game's US release as Mega Man ZX, there may be some small chance remaining that voices could be a last-minute implementation, but until we hear otherwise, it might be safest to assume that the game will not be vocally localized.
