  • Two new AWESOME songs annouced for Guitar Hero 2

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

Freebird by Lynard Skynard - FUCK that's going to be a hard solo
Sweet Child 'O Mine by GNR - one of the more popular rock riffs, so not a surprise

As these were two of the songs on my wish list, needless to say I'm very happy about this. Now if the kind folks at Harmonix would take another look at my list and get the rest of the songs on there, it would be much obliged :-)

Yeah I saw the videos at Gamespot. Been following up on it like mad. Good choices. SCoM sounds a bit off... like the guy's not straining his voice enough. Still, it's not like I won't enjoy playing it. Can't fucking wait until November.

I'm not a fan of Lynard skynard, but I am happy to hear about the GNR song; I'll sing along to it as I play =)

Yeah, he definetely sounds off, but I wasn't expecting an Axl sound-alike. I was just hoping they'd be smart and pay a little extra for the master of it.

I wish they would play the original songs. BTW, anybody got a Bags album? I kinda like that one song on the original GH.
