how can i change my password on the forum? it remembers it when i login cos i told it to, but if i try and login on my laptop it says password failed so how can i change it please?

Why would a bot say that? Its not like it would get a hold of the root password or anything. Nobody would say "Oh, let me give you the root password on a public forum, and you can change it yourself."

A bot might say it just to say something and leave a private homepage link behind. A lot of bot board spam is not meant to be read by humans, but pump a page's google rank up.
