  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

Cool. I'll probably try downloading a TV ep when it's available. It's not going to replace my current setup though: streaming videos from my PC via Media Center. The only problem is you can't play Divx encoded videos (99% of any downloaded movies or shows) without a hack. But there are a few hacks available. I use Transcode 360 and it works great. I can watch any video, view pictures, or listen to any song on my PC through my 360/HD/Stereo system.

Of course, the streamed downloaded videos aren't 720p quality but I can't really complain when its free.

I get all of this for free on my PC, I don't see the need to pay for it. A nice enough monitor or an output to your TV and you get the same thing

I recently bought a usb tv tuner for my laptop (so i could play the PS2 on it, primarily) and it can record tv like a DVR, with no monthly fees. I didnt think i'd actually use it that much, but since i'm living at my parents without a tv, the thing has become awesomely useful. I love it. For $80, i'm surprised i didnt jump on this in college where it would have been even more useful.
