Yep. The Japanese release date is on the 30th. It's just a matter of time till it gets here.

OH yeah. The GBA Advance version was announced a long time ago. They just released 5 so I imagine they're going to try and avoid the Xmas rush and release it early next year here

Perhaps in the future, it might be 3-4 years though. They could do it using similar models to what they used in the FF6 N64 demo.

Yeah, and it was awesome at the time, but now it looks like ass. If they redid the graphics, I would want upgraded 2D, not 3D. Part of the charm of playing FF6, for me, is going back to old school 2D.

Although, I think a lot of SNES games have aged well, graphically. Definitely all Square and Nintendo games.
