I don't know why, I saw PS3 fanboys on IGN defending the business model using the "good games cost good money" argument.

Either way, I always very much disliked Gran Turismo. The game has the worst controls of any racer in the history of video games (Sony needs to take some hints from EA and get rid of the floaty controls), on top of that absolutely dead boring pacing (as far as I played it). It's the game that everyone gets for Christmas and never plays; like those Crash Bandicoot games.

I've liked the GT games. It is supposed to be a racing simulator, not an action packed racing game. It achieves the former beautifully.
